Offerings

Giving an offering is one of the ways we worship God and support the ministry he has entrusted to us.

At Christian Baptist Church, we believe that everything we have belongs to God. Our offering on Sunday morning is a simple expression of gratitude, trust, obedience, and love. Through the financial generosity of our church family, we are able to continue the work God has called us to on Main Street, loving God and loving people so that one more might know Jesus.

Ways to Give

Giving is about more than money. We’re grateful for the many ways people support the ministry of Christian Baptist Church through their time, talents, and treasure.

You can give your time by serving, praying, encouraging others, helping with practical needs, and being present in the life of the church.

You can give your talents by using the gifts and abilities God has entrusted to you to serve others and strengthen the church family.

You can also give financially by e-transfer, cheque, or cash.

E-transfer

When giving by e-transfer, please include your name and address, or your offering envelope number, so we can issue a proper charitable receipt.

Cheque

Cheques may be made payable to: Christian Baptist Church

Cheque offerings may be placed in the offering plate during Sunday worship or mailed to the church. Please clearly mark your name and address so we can issue a proper charitable receipt.

Cash

Cash offerings may be given during Sunday worship. Please place your offering in an offering envelope and clearly mark your name so we can issue a proper charitable receipt. Cash offerings should be placed in the offering plate during the service.

A Word of Thanks

Your generosity with your time, talents and treasure helps support the ongoing ministry of Christian Baptist Church, including worship, discipleship, pastoral care, the Annex Cafe, the Porch Pantry, benevolence and the care of our church property on Main Street.
