Welcome to Christian Baptist Church

Visiting a church for the first time can feel like a big step. We understand that. Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years, are new to faith, are coming back after a long time away, or are just trying to figure out what you believe, we’d be glad to welcome you.

We gather Sundays at 11am in the Worship Centre at 135 Main St. S in Newmarket.

Our Sunday service is simple and centred on Jesus. We sing together, pray, read Scripture, and hear a message from the Bible that seeks to be faithful to God’s Word and helpful for everyday life.

You don’t need to know all the songs, understand every part of the service, or pretend to be someone you’re not. Come as you are, and we’ll be glad to meet you.

There’s no dress code. Some people dress casually, and some dress a little more formally. Wear what is comfortable for you.

Children are welcome at CBC. We’re glad when families worship with us, and we understand that kids make noise sometimes. That’s okay.
